This shot is from the 2008 Cinco de Mayo weekend concerts in Tahoe. Just before Chickenfoot did the road test shows. This was Sunday at noon after the Fri & Sat night shows. We left our hotel and my husband just automatically drove straight to the casinos. We get out of the car about 5 cars from the back door to Bills Casino. Out of the corner of my eye I see this person with yellow curls flying in the wind. A couple of seconds later my husband and I realize it's SAMMY!!! OMG!! He's talking to 4 of his crew outside the tour bus. My husband immediately starts yelling SAMMY HAGAR! SAMMY HAGAR! REALLY LOUD! I thought OMG AT LEAST WAIT UNTIL HE'S NOT TALKING!!! I was really worried he was going to get mad and I would just DIE! My husband keeps walking and I grab his flannel shirt in the back and hung on for dear life so I was actually SKIING behind him on gravel, not kidding, trying to make him stop! I was so freaked out that I just wanted to go right passed him saying "I'm so sorry Mr. Hagar". As I pass in embarrassment he turns to my husband with his hand out and a BIG Sammy smile and shook his hand. I was walking passed out of respect for the man when my husband says "MY WIFE LOVES YOU!" I never thought I'd hear that our of my husband's mouth! Sammy goes "OH YEAH wanna take a picture?" Sammy is standing there with his arm out for me!! Everything around us was going real fast and everything seemed slow inside my little circle with him! I couldn't even speak except for Oh My God" over and over! When I looked up for this picture I swear I couldn't even see my husband, just the flash! I think I came close to fainting. The best and luckiest day of my life!!! Nobody to share him with! Not even his beautiful wife! LOL! I kept thinking OMG My head is on SAMMY HAGAR'S Chest! I was on top of the world that day. We goofed around the rest of the day just blown away. What an awesome guy!
